I stood in front of my wardrobe, surrounded by a mountain of clothes. Skirts, dresses, tops, and bottoms were strewn across my bed and floor. I bit my lip in frustration, holding up a dress and then discarding it with a sigh. "What should I wear?"
Suddenly Megha pushed open the door to Niranya's room, expecting to find her friend studying or relaxing. Instead, she found the room in a state of chaos, clothes scattered everywhere. "Niranya!" she exclaimed, taking in the mess. "What on earth is going on here?"
"Shut up, Megha!" I snapped, holding up a pair of jeans and inspecting them critically before tossing them back onto the bed. "I have a date tonight, okay? And I have no idea what to wear."
Megha's eyes widened in surprise, a huge grin spreading across her face. "A DATE?!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together excitedly. "Oh my god, Niranya! Tell me everything! Who is it? What time is it? Where are you going?"
Shock registered clearly on Megha's face "Ashtram Raghuvanshi? Our Boss?!" She practically squealed "When did this happen?! How did this happen? Details, NOW!" She began helping me sort through the clothes, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
I rolled my eyes at Megha's over enthusiasm, but a small smile betrayed my amusement. "It's just dinner, Megha. No need to act like I'm getting married tomorrow."
Megha grinned widely, already imagining the potential future of Niranya and Ashtram. "I'm just so happy for you, Niranya! You deserve someone amazing, and Ashtram... well, he's certainly that. And powerful, and rich, and--"
Megha's enthusiastic rambling was interrupted by my firm hand on her shoulder. "Megha, stop. Just... stop. It's one date, okay? Let's not get ahead of ourselves." She sighed, rubbing her temples. "Can you just help me pick out something to wear?"
Suddenly, Megha suggested we can go shopping. Megha's suggestion to go shopping immediately caught my attention. I loved shopping, and the thought of getting a new outfit specifically for my date with Ashtram was tempting. "You know what, Megha? That's not a bad idea. Let's go shopping."
Megha jumped up from the bed, excitement radiating from her as she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door. "Yay! Come on, let's go! We'll hit all the best stores and find you the perfect outfit."
We settled inside the car, buckling our seatbelt as Megha started the car. "You know, for someone who's usually so calm and collected, you're really excited about this shopping trip." A small smile played on my lips as I watched my friend's enthusiastic driving.
After twenty minutes megha finally stopped the car in front of a Mall. As soon as Megha parked the car, I unbuckled my seatbelt and stepped out, following Megha into the bustling mall. She could already feel the excitement building inside me at the prospect of finding the perfect outfit for my date with Ashtram.
We both spent the next few hours browsing through stores, trying on outfits, and laughing together. I finally found a beautiful white dress with cap sleeves that hugged my curves in all the right places. "This one," I said, turning to Megha with a smile.
Megha clapped her hands together excitedly. "Oh Niranya, you look stunning! That dress is perfect on you. Ashtram won't be able to take his eyes off you!" She grinned broadly, already envisioning my impending success on my date.
After this I followed Megha to the shoe section, my heels clicking on the polished floor. I browsed through the racks, picking up pairs here and there. I finally found a pair of nude heels with delicate ankle straps that would complement my white dress perfectly.
After a satisfying day of shopping, Niranya and Megha returned home, laden with bags. Niranya carefully hung up her new dress and set the shoes aside, already looking forward to trying them on again.

Sat in the opulent study of my mansion, surrounded by the weight of my mafia responsibilities. I leaned back in my leather chair, rubbing my temples as I listened intently to my advisors to discuss the intricacies of the next mission.
One of my advisors, a burly man named Viktor, spoke up, his voice gruff and serious. "Sir, we've received intel that the rival family, the De Laurentis, are planning to make a move on one of our key businesses. We need to be prepared to defend our interests."
My lips curled into a smirk, my eyes hardening with determination. I leaned forward, resting My elbows on the polished mahogany desk. "Then we'll show them the folly of underestimating Ashtram Raghuvanshi," he declared, his voice low and fierce.
Vedant leaned in, his expression thoughtful and focused. "What's the plan ? Do we strike first, or wait for them to make their move?" He knew better than anyone how delicate this situation was.
My smirk widened, a cold glint in my eyes that sent shivers down the spines of those who knew me best. "We'll let them think they have the upper hand," I murmured. "Viktor, I want you to feed them false information." Viktor nodded, "and while they're busy celebrating their perceived victory, we'll hit them where it hurts. Their main operations center. By the time they realize their mistake, it'll be too late." My tone was calculated and deadly, every word chosen with precise intent.
"And Vedant, Make sure our men are ready for a full-scale attack within the next 48 hours. I want this operation to run like clockwork. Leave no witnesses, understand?" Vedant nodded, his jaw clenched in determination, ready to execute his friend's orders to the letter.
After discussion as the room emptied and the doors closed behind my departing advisors, I leaned back in my chair, the cold determination fading from my eyes as I gazed at my phone's screen. There, smiling back at me, was Niranya-my rain angel, my light amidst the shadows of my world.
"Just a few more hours", I whispered, tracing her smiling face on the screen with my finger. I looked forward to our dinner date more than any business meeting or strategic planning session. It was the only time I felt truly at peace, away from the constant chaos of my dark empire.
