I stand in front of my closet, my heart pounding with a mix of excitement and nervousness as I prepare for the evening's business party at Ashtram Mansion.
I carefully remove the dress from the closet, the same one Megha had insisted me to wear last night. I hold it up against myself, admiring the elegant design and the way it hugs my curves in all the right places. "Megha was right, this does suit me."
In awe of the dress, I run my fingers over the delicate fabric. "A red crepe bodycon dress... I can't believe I'm really going to wear this," I murmur to myself, feeling both excited and anxious about how Ashtram will react.
I slip into the dress, the soft crepe material clinging to my every curve. I stand in front of the full-length mirror, hardly recognizing myself in the striking red gown that accentuates my figure so beautifully.
I opt for simplicity with my jewelry, choosing a pair of elegant, understated silver earrings that complement the dress without overpowering it. I take a deep breath, steeling my nerves as I prepare to face the business party at Ashtram Mansion.
As I emerged from my room, I met with the sight of Megha standing in the hallway. Megha is wearing Black Slit sleeve bodycon dress.
Megha's eyes widen as she takes in my stunning appearance, a slow whistle escaping her lips. "Wow, Niru! That dress... it's like it was made for you. You look absolutely gorgeous!" She circles around Niranya admiringly. "Red is definitely your color."
Smiling back at Megha, I return the compliment, my voice filled with genuine admiration. "Megha, you also looking stunning in that black dress."
Megha chuckles, a teasing glint in her eye as she links her arm with mine. "Tonight, Ashtram won't just lose his consciousness, he'll probably forget his own name when he lays eyes on you, Niru."
My cheeks flush pink at Megha's words, a nervous laugh escaping my lips. "Megha, stop it! You're making me even more anxious than I already am," I playfully pushes Megha's arm, trying to hide my own growing excitement.
Megha pulls my arm, dragging me towards the front door with a mischievous grin. "Alright, alright, we can't keep the poor man waiting any longer or he might actually lose his mind before even laying eyes on you."
My chuckle turns into a small fit of laughter at Megha's teasing, trying to hold onto her composure. "You're terrible Megha! How am I supposed to stay calm with you saying all these things?"
Megha laughs heartily, squeezing my arm. "Life's too short to be too serious, Niru. Tonight, let's just have fun and enjoy the attention you deserve."

Both of them halt in their tracks as they spot the car, their eyes widening in surprise. Megha leans in, whispering to Niranya. "That car..."
The driver, a tall, stern-looking man in a crisp black suit, opens the door and steps aside, waiting expectantly for the two women. Niranya and Megha exchange confused glances, unsure of what to make of the luxurious vehicle and the attentive driver. "Who could this be?" Megha says.
The driver's voice breaks through their confusion. "Excuse me, mam. Mr. Ashtram has sent this car for your transportation to the party this evening."
Megha's eyebrows shoot up in amusement, a playful smirk spreading across her face. "Well, well, Ashtram certainly knows how to make an entrance, doesn't he?
Niranya shoots Megha a mock glare, her lips twitching with suppressed laughter. "Megha, behave! I can't believe Ashtram would go to all this trouble..." She shakes her head in disbelief, glancing back at the luxurious car.
Megha gives Niranya a conspiratorial wink, her voice dropping to a teasing whisper. "A gentleman indeed! Lucky you, Niru. Who needs Cinderella's prince when you have Ashtram pampering you with chauffeur-driven rides?"
As the car doors close behind them, Niranya and Megha settle into the plush leather seats, the interior filled with the scent of expensive leather and subtle floral notes.
The car pulls away from their place, merging seamlessly into the evening traffic. Niranya watches as the city lights blur past the tinted windows, her mind racing with thoughts of Ashtram's grand gesture.
After twenty minutes as the car comes to a halt in front of Ashtram's grand mansion, Niranya takes a deep breath, steeling herself for the opulence she knows awaits inside. The driver opens the door, and she steps out, Megha following closely behind.
Ashtram freezes as Niranya enters, his breath catching in his throat. The sight of her steals every rational thought, leaving only raw, primal need. In a voice strained with emotion, he mutters, "My goddess... descended among mortals..."
Vedant's voice comes from across the room, equally enamored "Megha... you look enchanting tonight..." Meanwhile, Ashtram's focus remains entirely on Niranya, "My Angel... she takes my breath away."
Megha's face lights up at Vedant's compliment, and she curtsies slightly, her sari fluttering around her ankles. "Thank you, Ved. You're looking quite dashing yourself."
Niranya feels Ashtram's intense gaze on her as she navigates the lavish room, filled with prominent figures of society. She can barely concentrate on the small talk, her awareness constantly drawn back to Ashtram's unwavering attention.
Vedant subtly signals Megha to give them some privacy. She nods understandingly, allowing him to lead her away from the crowd, leaving Ashtram alone with his thoughts and his intense gaze fixed on Niranya.

Slowly, deliberately, I begin to walk towards my Angel. Each step is purposeful, my eyes never leaving hers. The air crackles with tension, the distance between us shrinking until I stand directly in front of her. My voice is low, intense. "My Angel..."
"Among a thousand stars, you're the brightest... Among a million flowers, you're the most fragrant... Among a billion women, you're the most beautiful... My Jaan, you're incomparable..." I reach out to gently take her hand.
She meets my gaze, her eyes reflecting the soft candlelight surrounding them. "Ash..." Her voice comes out barely above a whisper, the intensity of his compliment leaving her momentarily breathless.
In a voice dripping with adoration and barely contained passion, I speak, " your Ash is the man lucky enough to admire you, my Goddess..."
She says, "you are also looking too handsome tonight, My Ash." My eyes crinkle at the corners as I smile, my gaze never leaving hers.
Suddenly my smile falters as I see another girl approach Niranya and pull her away. A flash of jealousy sparks in my eyes. I quickly compose myself, watching as the girl leads Niranya off. The distance between us grows, and I find myself uncharacteristically restless.
I stand there, my eyes locked onto my Angel's retreating form, my heart pounding in my chest. I can't tear my gaze away from her.
I turn my attention to the businessman, my face set with a professional smile. I engage in conversation, discussing business strategies and potential collaborations. However, my mind wanders back to my Jaan every few minutes.
In the midst of my conversations, my gaze drifts back to my Angel. I watches in surprise and a hint of concern as she reaches for a glass of alcohol. My brows furrow slightly, knowing her stance on not drinking.
Excuses myself from the conversation mid-sentence, my polite facade slipping slightly as urgency takes over. In a few long strides, I am at her side, my hand gently but firmly stopping hers before she can take the glass. "Jaan... no alcohol tonight?"
She looks at me with a curious expression, her brows furrowed slightly as she tries to understand the sudden change in my behavior. "Alcohol? No, it's just a sparkling water with a splash of juice."
I set a soft drink in front of her, my eyes locked onto hers, "Drink this instead. You know alcohol isn't your thing, Angel."
"I thought it was a soft drink," she says with a small smile, trying to ease the tension. She takes the drink from him.
I can't help but chuckle softly, "It's alright, my Angel." I glanced at the soft drink I just handed her. "But this one tastes much better, promise."
"Mmm, you're right. This is much better. Thank you, Ash." She sets the glass down on the table, turning her attention back to me.
She politely excuses herself as someone calls her and joins her colleagues. My gaze drifting back to my Jaan every so often as she laughs and chats with her colleagues.
She has an incredible hold on me," I think to myself....."It's like she can just walk into a room and steal the air right out of my lungs."

One of Niranya's male colleague, approaches her and say, "You know, Niranya, you're looking especially radiant tonight. That outfit suits you perfectly."
"Thank you, Raj. That's very kind of you to say." She maintains her polite demeanor while keeping an eye on Ashtram across the room.
A flicker of unease crosses Ashtram's face as he notices the male colleague chatting animatedly with Niranya.
Megha leans in and whispers teasingly into Niranya's ear. "Looks like someone's getting a bit... possessive. You might want to play along and give him a little something to be jealous about."
She glances at Megha with amusement, barely suppressing a giggle. "Oh stop it, Megha. Ash trusts me completely. He's not the jealous type." Despite her words, she can't deny the small thrill that ran through her at Megha's teasing.
The male colleague extends his hand to Niranya, a charming smile on his face. "Niranya, would you do me the honor of dancing this song with me?" He looks at her expectantly, unaware of the storm he might be stirring.
Megha whispers something in her ear, her voice low and encouraging. "Go on, Niranya. He's been eyeing you all night. Let him think he has a chance. Besides, it'll be fun to watch Ashtram's reaction."
Ashtram's jaw tightens visibly, a flicker of possessiveness flashing in his eyes as he watches the interaction unfold. With a smooth but determined stride, Ashtram approaches them, his gaze never leaving Niranya's face. He extends his hand, interrupting Raj's gesture. "Niranya, may I have this dance?"
Niranya looks momentarily startled by Ashtram's sudden appearance, but a mischievous glint quickly enters her eyes.
Megha whispers in her ear once again, her voice laced with amusement and encouragement. "Look at his face. He's practically seething with jealousy. You're driving him crazy, Niru."
Without waiting for a response, Ashtram takes Niranya's hand and gently pulls her towards the dance floor.
The sudden change in his demeanor - possessive and almost protective - catches her off guard. "Ash... what..." She says softly, catching her breath.
Ashtram's grip on her hand tightens slightly, a possessive gesture that leaves no room for misunderstanding. He pulls her close, his arm wrapping around her waist, and begins to sway to the music with a confidence that demands attention.
Niranya glances around the room, noticing the multitude of familiar faces watching their impromptu dance. "Everyone's staring, Ash."
He leans in close, his breath tickling her ear as he whispers, "Let them stare. You are only mine Angel." His grip is secure, conveying an urgency and possessiveness that's palpable. "Come with me."
She glances back at their colleagues, who are still watching their interaction with rapt attention. "Where Ash?
He leans in closer, his lips hovering just inches from hers as he whispers, "If you want me to kiss you right here, in front of everyone, I can. I'll kiss you until you can't breathe, until the only thing you can think about is my mouth on yours. And when I'm done, everyone will know that you're taken."
Her eyes widen at his intense whisper, her pulse racing at his bold words. The electricity between them is palpable.
His smirk is mischievous, daring her to challenge him. "Now, are you coming with me, or do I need to claim you in front of everyone."
She nods, her heart pounding in her chest. Ashtram takes her nod as consent, and he pulls her away from the crowd, towards the upstairs. "Where are we going?" She asks, her voice barely above a whisper.
His hand possessively wrapped around her wrist. He stops in front of his room door, unlocking it swiftly. "My room," he growls, pulling her inside and closing the door behind them.
Her breath catches in her throat at the sudden intimacy of the situation. She turns to face him, her eyes adjusting to the low light. "Ash, what are we doing here?"
Without giving her a chance to say more, he pins her against the wall, his hands gripping her hips tightly. His lips crash against hers in a hungry, possessive kiss. He kisses her with all the pent-up desire and frustration he's been holding back, his tongue demanding entry into her mouth.
Her body melts against his, her arms wrapping around his neck as she kisses him back. She can feel the heat between them, the electric current that always seems to spark whenever they're close.
One hand moves to tangle in her hair while the other slides down to grip her thigh, pulling it up to wrap around his waist. The kiss grows more intense, his teeth nipping at her lower lip as he grows harder against her.
A soft moan escapes her lips at his touch, her fingers digging into his shoulders. "Mmmm."
He inhales sharply at the sound of her moan, a low growl rumbling in his throat. "Fuck, I love that sound." His lips trail down her neck, sucking and biting at the sensitive skin.
Niranya's head falls back against the wall, a soft gasp escaping her as his lips work down her neck.
He pulls back just enough to look her in the eyes, his chest heaving with ragged breaths. His thumb brushes over her kiss-swollen lips as he speaks, his voice low and commanding. "From now on, don't make me jealous."
She looks back at him, "Jealous?" She asks breathlessly, her fingers tracing patterns on his shoulders. "Ash, you're unbelievable..."
He presses a soft kiss to her forehead, inhaling her sweet scent and say, "No one else should dare to breathe in your direction." His lips trail along her jawline "And I'll kill anyone who tries to touch what's mine."
She stares at him, taken aback by his intense possessiveness. He's never been this...jealous before. She swallows hard, seeing the seriousness in his eyes. "Ash...you're being crazy right now..."
"Crazy for you, Angel. Wildly, utterly crazy." His hands slide up to cup her face, his thumbs gently stroking her cheeks.
Suddenly her phone rings. She picks up the call, her voice shaky as she tries to hide the effect Ash's words have had on her. "Yes Megha."
"Where are you Niru ?" Megha asks.
Niranya whispers urgently into the phone, "I'm... I'm coming."
Niranya turns to Ashtram, "Ash, Megha is searching for me, I have to go."
"Fine," He says, his arms wrapping around her waist again as he pulls her close for one last kiss before letting her go.
As she walks out, he mutters under his breath "My Jaan....she has no idea how fucked I am over her." His fingers trace his lips, still warm from their passionate kisses.
He whispers to himself, a hint of madness in his eyes as he thinks about Niranya. "She's like a drug I can't quit. I'll have her, completely."
