It’s been fifteen days since that unforgettable night—our movie night. Since then, things between Ashtram and I have only grown stronger. The chemistry, the intensity, the way he makes me feel...I am completely falling for him. He is like the prince of my dreams. I really started loving him so much.
Today is my last exam, and I’m both excited and nervous. A little part of me is still in disbelief at how quickly time has flown by, but I know one thing for sure: nothing is going to stop me now.
I finish getting ready and glance at the clock. Megha is already waiting for me. Since I’ve been staying with her at her place, it’s become a sort of routine for us to travel together.
“Ready to crush it?” Megha’s voice rings out as I pick up my bag.
“Of course,” I smile, though a bit of nervousness still lingers in my chest. But I push it down. Today’s the day I finish everything.
After The Exam
Once the paper is over, I step out of the exam hall into the afternoon sun, the air fresh and cool. I find a quiet spot outside the college gate and pull out my phone. I text Megha: "Hey, I’m outside, where are you?"
I check the time again. She should be here any second.
When Megha finally appears, she’s walking quickly, her brows furrowed in slight distress.
“Hey, what’s going on? You’re a little late,” I greet her, leaning against the wall.
She seems distracted, glancing around as if searching for something. “Sorry, I lost my phone in the classroom. I think I left it on the desk. Wait here, I’ll be right back. You can relax, I’ll find it quickly.”
I nodded and said, "Okay."
I lean back against the stone wall outside the college and breathe in the fresh air, watching the students around me. My nerves are on edge, but I try to ignore it. There’s nothing to worry about, right?
Just as I’m about to check my phone again, a car pulls up slowly to the curb. It’s a sleek black vehicle, moving unusually smoothly for the traffic around it. My gaze lingers on it for a moment, distracted by the way it stops right in front of me.
I don’t have time to react. The car door opens, and two men step out. One moves quickly toward me, and I finally feel the shift in the air. Something’s wrong.
“Get in the car,” a cold voice demands.
I blink, trying to process what’s happening. My body tenses, and panic spikes. The man grabs my wrist with a strength that feels almost inhuman, pulling me toward the vehicle.
“No! What the hell is this?” I struggle, trying to pull away, but his grip tightens.
“Don’t make it harder,” the man growls, his hand clamping over my mouth, silencing any scream that might have escaped.
I thrash in his hold, but it’s useless. The second man approaches, his eyes scanning the surroundings before stepping into the car behind me.
Everything happens so quickly. Before I can make sense of it, I’m being shoved into the car, and the door slams shut. I’m shoved into the back seat, heart hammering in my chest.

Megha stepped out of the classroom, feeling relieved that she’d found her phone. A smile crossed her lips as she thought about how Niranya would tease her for being so careless. But as she walked toward the college gate, her steps faltered. The sight before her froze her in place.
A black car was speeding away, and in its wake, she saw scattered papers on the ground—Niranya’s notebook and phone among them. Megha’s chest tightened as realization dawned.
“Niranya!” she shouted, her voice trembling with panic. She sprinted toward the spot where her friend had been waiting just moments ago, but it was too late. Niranya was gone.
Her heart pounded furiously. The possibility that this might be a prank crossed her mind for a fleeting second, but the cold emptiness in the air told her otherwise. Something terrible had happened.
She crouched down, picking up Niranya’s phone with trembling hands. The cracked screen stared back at her, a grim reminder of her friend’s disappearance. Megha knew who she had to call.
Her fingers shakily dialed the one number on her phone, she hoped to bring immediate help—Ashtram Raghuvanshi’s.
The phone rang once, twice, three times. No answer. Megha tried again, but the result was the same.
“Pick up, damn it!” she hissed, tears welling in her eyes. “Why aren’t you answering?”
Her mind raced, panic overtaking her. If Ashtram wouldn’t answer, there was only one other person she could think of. She bit her lip, hesitating for just a moment before dialing another number—Vedant, Ashtram’s closest confidant.
Vedant was Ashtram’s best friend, but to Megha, he was something more. She’d never admitted it to anyone, not even Niranya, but her heart had always skipped a beat when he was around. Now wasn’t the time to dwell on that, though.
The phone rang, and she prayed he would answer.
“Hello?” Vedant’s deep, calm voice came through the line, and for a moment, Megha felt a flicker of hope.
“Ved!” Megha cried, her voice breaking. “Niranya… she’s gone! Someone took her!”
“What?” His tone shifted instantly, sharp and filled with urgency. “Calm down, Megha. Tell me everything. What happened?”
Megha tried to steady her breathing as she recounted the events, her voice trembling. “She was waiting outside the college gate. I—I went back to get my phone, and when I came back, I saw a car speeding away. Her phone was on the ground. I tried calling Ashtram, but he’s not picking up. You need to help me!”
There was a pause on the other end, and Megha could hear Vedant muttering something under his breath before his tone turned icy.
“I’m on my way. Stay there and don’t move. I’ll take care of this,” Vedant said firmly.
“Please hurry,” Megha whispered, clutching the phone tightly.

The large conference room was filled with tension as I closed the Mafia deal with cold precision. My words held authority, my presence commanded fear, but my mind… it wasn’t here. It was with her—Niranya, my jaan.
The meeting finally ended, and I stormed out of the room, irritation already simmering in my veins. As soon as I pulled my phone from my pocket, my jaw tightened. Missed calls. Megha. Vedant. Megha again.
What the fuck was going on?
I called Megha immediately, and she answered before the first ring even ended. Her panicked voice hit me like a punch.
“Ashtram sir!” she cried. “I tried calling you, but you didn’t pick up—Niranya’s been kidnapped!”
Time froze for a moment. And then it shattered into a million shards of fury. My blood burned, my grip on the phone tightening so much I almost crushed it.
“What the fuck do you mean kidnapped?” I roared, my voice was thunderous.
“She was waiting for me outside the college gate,” Megha stammered, her words tumbling out in fear. “When I came back, she was gone! I tried to call you, but—”
I didn’t let her finish. I couldn’t fucking hear it anymore. Ending the call, I shoved the phone into my pocket and clenched my fists. My heart was pounding, my mind clouded with rage.
The pendant.
My jaan didn’t know it, but the pendant I had gifted her on our dinner date wasn’t just a gift—it was protection, it had a tracker in it. I opened the tracking app, my hands trembling slightly, and found the blinking dot on the screen. It was moving.
Those motherfuckers.
I slammed my fist into the car door before dialing my head of security. The second he answered, I unleashed the storm.
“Listen to me, you fucking idiot,” I hissed, venom dripping from my tone. “I want the entire city locked down. Every road, every alley, every fucking inch of this goddamn place closed. I don’t care who has to move or what needs to happen—get it done in five fucking minutes, or I swear on your miserable life, I’ll burn you all to ashes. I’ll fucking burn this city to the ground.”
“Yes, sir! It will be done!” the man stammered before I ended the call, my chest heaving with fury.
The car felt like a cage as I gripped the steering wheel and slammed my foot on the accelerator. My angel. My Niranya. How dare they? How dare anyone touch what’s mine?
Another call came in—Vedant. I answered, but I didn’t let him speak.
“I know,” I snapped. “I’m already tracking her.”
“I’m tracking her too,” Vedant replied. “I’m heading there now—”
“Shut the fuck up,” I growled. “I’m not just heading there. I’m going to find every bastard who laid a finger on her, and I’ll fucking destroy them. They’ll beg for death by the time I’m done.”
The tracker blinked, taunting me. My car sped through the streets like a beast unleashed, the engine roaring as my fury fueled every move.
Finally, the dot on the tracker stopped moving, settling in a location. My jaw tightened, and I clenched the wheel so hard my knuckles turn white.
That's where she is.
Driving like a mad man, I didn't care about the cars I overtook, the signals I ran, or the havoc I caused on the roads. My mind is focused only on one thing - reaching my Angel.
“Niranya,” I muttered, my voice cracking for a moment. “My jaan. My angel. Just hold on. I’m coming for you.”
The city would burn if she wasn’t found. I’d turn every fucking building into rubble if it meant getting her back. Whoever dared to take her would learn the true wrath of Ashtram Raghuvanshi.
