๐Ÿ’˜ PROLOGUE ๐Ÿ’˜

I was about to leave with my bag when he suddenly grabbed my hand, stopping me. Before I could react, he snatched the bag from my grip and threw it aside.

โ€œYouโ€™re not going anywhere,โ€ he said firmly, like it was an order, not a plea.

Something inside me snapped. โ€œWhy? Who am I to you? Just your best friendโ€™s sister, right? Nothing else!โ€

His jaw tightened, eyes hardening further. โ€œAahana, stop all this and go to your room. Right now.โ€

โ€œNo,โ€ I shot back, voice shaking. โ€œIโ€™m not living here with you anymore.โ€

He exhaled a shaky breath, and for a second, his voice softenedโ€”just a little. โ€œPlease, Aahana. Itโ€™s not safe outside. Justโ€ฆ donโ€™t do this right now.โ€

But even his โ€œpleaseโ€ felt distant, like he was saying it only out of responsibility, not because he cared.

โ€œI donโ€™t want to listen to anything. Iโ€™m leaving.โ€

I turned, trying to walk away with whatever dignity I had left, but he caught my wrist again. This time, his grip was firm.

I jerked my hand away, my chest tightening painfully.

โ€œAahanaโ€”โ€ His voice shook, but I didnโ€™t let myself turn. I couldnโ€™t. If I saw his face, I would break.

With tears spilling silently down my cheeks, I whispered, barely audible, โ€œHave a peaceful life without meโ€ฆ Mr. Rudraksh Kapoor. Goodbye.โ€

The moment the door opened, a cold gust of stormy wind slapped against my skin.

And then I walked out of his villa.
Out into the stormy night.
Out of his life.

With that, the sky finally broke open.
The first drop hit my cheekโ€”
I didnโ€™t even know if it was rain or another tear.
And then the downpour began.

I ranโ€ฆ as fast as my trembling legs could carry me, my bag forgotten, my heart shattering with every step, his villa shrinking behind me just the way his feelings had.

He never loved me.
Maybe it was always meant to be one-sided.
Maybe I was the only one who felt anything at all.

May be he never even cared about my feelingsโ€ฆ
not the way a man would if he thought I was his.

And thatโ€™s when it finally hit meโ€”
I was never his anything.
Not the way he was everything to me.

I had her pinned against the bookshelf before she could even catch her breath, my palms flat on the wood beside her head.

โ€œAahana,โ€ I growled, my voice scraping low, โ€œwhy the hell are you ignoring me the whole day?โ€

She shot me a fierce look.

โ€œDonโ€™t you know what you did?โ€ she snapped. โ€œYou scolded me in front of my friends for being five minutes lateโ€”and then you didnโ€™t even let me enter the class.โ€

I exhaled slowly through my nose, keeping my tone controlled.

โ€œRules for everyone in my class are the same for you too,โ€ I said, leaning in until her lips were a whisper from mine. โ€œBut hereโ€ฆ right nowโ€ฆ Iโ€™m not your professor, Little Heart. Iโ€™m your man.โ€

She scoffed and turned her face to the side. โ€œWhateverโ€ฆ Iโ€™m still angry with you.โ€

That set something off in me.
I hated when she looked away.

My hand lifted automatically, fingers closing gently but firmly around her jaw. I tilted her face back toward me, forcing her to meet my eyes.

โ€œNo,โ€ I murmured, my thumb brushing her cheek. โ€œWhen Iโ€™m talking to youโ€ฆ you look at me.โ€

Her breath hitchedโ€”just the way I knew it would. And damn, the sound went straight to my head.
I softened my voice, though the desperation still bled through.

โ€œTell me what you want,โ€ I said quietly, my forehead brushing hers. โ€œIโ€™ll do anything you say, Little Heartโ€ฆ just donโ€™t ignore me like this.โ€

She didnโ€™t speak.
Instead, she grabbed the collar of my shirt and yanked me even closerโ€”her lips almost grazing mine, her breath warm against my mouth.

โ€œThen apologise properly,โ€ she murmured, her voice dripping with challenge.

Her touch.
Her command.
Her body pressed against mine in the dim library lightโ€”

It dragged a low growl out of me before I could stop it.

With a slow, sinful voice, I whispered, โ€œYou want an apology? Fine. Iโ€™ll apologise in a way thatโ€™ll make you forget why you were angry in the first placeโ€ฆโ€

She smirked, eyes glinting with pure mischief. โ€œThen show me how youโ€™ll apologise to your favourite student, Professor Rudraksh.โ€

And that was it.

I crashed my lips onto hers and unbuckled my belt in one swift motion. The sound of metal hitting the floor echoed through the library as I freed my hard, throbbing length from the confines of my pants.

She moaned against my mouth as I kissed her hungrily.

Without breaking the kiss, I lifted her up against the old bookshelf, her legs wrapping tightly around me.

My hand sliding down to lift her skirt.
Good thing she had worn a top and skirt to college today.

I pushed her panty aside and positioned the head of my cock against her entranceโ€”without pulling away from her mouth for even a second.

Then, as she was out of breath, I left her mouth, and the next moment entered inside her in one deep thrust.

The bookshelf behind us shook violently from the force of my entry, causing ancient volumes to tumble down silently.

She screamed, โ€œAhhhhโ€ฆ A-Akshhhh!โ€

โ€œTake your apology, my angry Little Student.โ€ I murmured, every word dripping with hunger and possessiveness.

โ€œOh f-fuckโ€ฆ Akshhh!โ€ She moaned.

โ€œPlease, Little Heartโ€ฆ forgive me now.โ€ I said, pressing my head against hers with powerful thrusts.
