She was a virgin prostitute, waiting to be sold at an auction.
He was a ruthless Mafia King who hated women.
Yet, when the bidding began, he bought her.
Why?
Was she just another purchase for the man who could buy anything with his money and power?
Or was there something about her that he couldn't resist?
And somehow, she ended up bound to him by a one-year contract.
A contract that demanded only one thing from her-herself.
But why did she accept when she had planned to escape?
Why did she willingly step into the cage of a man feared by everyone?
What secret was she hiding behind those innocent eyes?
Why did a man who claimed to hate women become so obsessed with the one woman he had bought?
Was she really just his virgin prostitute?
Or was she the only woman capable of breaking the walls around his heart?
Will Samraag Ahelawat ever be able to fall in love with her?
Will Anshi survive the darkness of his world?
And when their one-year contract comes to an end... will either of them be able to walk away?
Because sometimes, the most dangerous contract isn't the one written on paper... It's the one written on the heart.

Before starting this story, let me clear this up again.
You might hate the ML in the first few chapters.
And yes-you can. Because I intentionally wrote him that way. But please, don't badmouth the author just because you dislike a fictional character.
This is a mystery-suspense story with lots of spice, so you'll have to be patient. Not everything is what it seems, and not every question will be answered immediately.
And I'm repeating this again:
No one in this story is completely innocent.
As the story progresses, you'll understand exactly why I'm saying this.
After thinking about it for a long time, I've finally decided to publish this story. So please don't make me regret choosing to tell a story outside my usual comfort zone just because I've always written green-flag MLs before.
Samraag isn't exactly a red flag either.
He's definitely not fully green.
Let's just call him a black flag.
And even though Samraag is a black-flag character, I will not make him sexually assault Anshi or cross certain boundaries just for the sake of making him "dark." I won't use something like that as a cheap plot device and then expect readers to accept them ending up together simply because he later goes through character development.
His flaws, mistakes, possessiveness, anger, and morally questionable choices are part of his character-but there are lines I have intentionally chosen not to cross.
So please, if you're willing to be patient and experience the story as it unfolds, stay and enjoy the ride.
But if this kind of ML isn't for you, that's completely okay. You can leave. I'm not forcing anyone to read this story.
All I ask is-please don't give me unnecessary stress over a fictional character.
Read this as fiction.
This story isn't written only to raise your standards or teach you what your ideal relationship should look like. It's written because this is the kind of dark, complicated story I wanted to explore.
So, please be kind to the author behind the characters.
You don't have to love the characters.
You don't even have to agree with them.
Just let me tell their story.
